EUBOIA. Karystos. Circa 235-200 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 7.16 g, 12 h). Laureate male head to right. Rev. ΚΑΡΥΣΤΙΩN Nike driving biga to left, holding palm frond in her right hand and reins in her left; above, trident within wreath. BCD Euboia 575 (same dies). HGC 5, 1560. Wallace Group 2 (OIII/R3). Rare. Nearly very fine.
